John P. Alexander, CFM
Director of Facilities
Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P.

Seldom do I acknowledge the significant contributions of vendors, contractors or architects in the development and delivery of a project. It is with sincere appreciation that I write you to provide thanks for all that Shaw Hofstra has meant in the process associated with the selection of 215 W. Pershing for SHB's expansion.

The process began even before I was brought into the process, and I was so pleased to learn of your participation on behalf of the Landlord in developing responses to our specific needs. By asking the appropriate questions of us, the responses that eventually were incorporated in the Lease made the entire selection process efficient and relatively painless for us and hopefully for the potential landlords.

Your staff has been very accommodating, and have allowed our consultants and vendors open access to the design criteria that has resulted in fast track construction and quick ship FF&E. Similarly the communication with SHB once the lease was signed expedited the "turn-key" aspects of this project so we will be able to occupy the space on time and on budget.

Please thank the entire staff for their untiring efforts in meeting our short deadlines and in accommodating the numerous changes we imposed on them. I am happy to have my name listed as a reference for any potential clients that want to better understand the depth of knowledge and professionalism Shaw Hofstra & Associates brings to the table for a demanding client. I look forward to working with you on future projects, small and large and wish you the best in your growth within the Kansas City community.
