Terry Binns Skincare and Spa is one of the oldest spa estabilshments in the Kansas City area.  Having outgrown their old space, Terry and company decided to move closer to the Plaza area for the convenience of many of his clients.  Located in the lower level of the Sulgrave Condominium building the space is an eclectic blend of urban construction elements and a warm spa atmosphere. 

To help with the low ceiling heights the building's large concrete beams were left exposed and incorporated into the design.  Integrating two HVAC systems in the walls and strategic soffits allowed the space to keep it's open ceilings and plan while eliminating sound and smell transmission from the Salon side to the Spa.  Soft waves of fabric curtain help to soften the harder elements while translucent striped panels of glass allow light to filter from different spaces and give glimpses of activity in the spaces too.
